The Intervention of Picture Books on Children with Specific Language Impairment: Progress, Challenges, and Prospects

Compared with ordinary children, children specific language impairment (SLI) have delayed development, poor reading comprehension, and greater difficulties in learning. As a widely used teaching intervention method, picture books can promote the development of oral narrative, emotion, social communication study for special impairment. However, mechanism SLI is still unclear. Therefore, this article sorts out reviews barrier symptoms impairment, form book intervention, potential puts forward current role SLI. The challenges faced positive outlook on SLI, research will provide reference help related professional fields has important guiding significance value correction various countries.
